Job Description

Altis Recruitment is seeking a dedicated full-time Membership Coordinator for our client in the Non-Profit industry that specializes in Health Care. The ideal candidate will hold 3+ years of intermediate to senior level administration experience, and experience working within the health care industry. This position operates from Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm (with flexibility) and is 100% remote. We are starting this position on a 4-month contract with a strong ability to go permanent based on performance. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manages the online community for members and stakeholders to share resources, generate discussion, and promote collaboration across disciplines and geographical locations nationally.
  • Manages day-to-day operations like onboarding of new members and managing content including profiles, uploads, discussion threads and other comments. Reviews posting requests from other departments to provide approval and guidance.
  • Monitors online activities and handles critical reports about sensitive topics that require tact and attention to detail.
  • Conducts research and analyzes data related to user experience, platform functionality, and operational processes to ensure continuous improvement to user experience.
  • Designs and implements a strategy that will help grow engagement and participation as well as other Section’s and department’s established goals and metrics. Regularly evaluates and reports the effectiveness of the strategy.
  • Manages the vendor contract including participating in the negotiation process, contract approval, and implementing vendor management strategies.
  • Tracks contract terms and costs to ensure fulfillment and escalation of issues as required.
  • Manages the project’s budget including preparing projections and financial reports along with monthly reconciliation of expenses.
  • Designs and implements a strategy that will help grow engagement and participation as well as other Section’s and department’s established goals and metrics.
  • This position manages 2-3 discreet projects independently or contributes as part of a larger project team to support the activities of current and future programs and member interest groups.
  • Manages the membership data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Implementation of the department’s operating budget including expense tracking, reporting and reconciliation.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Related work experience in a professional environment.
  • Experience establishing membership engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Experience with minute-taking and report preparation.
  • Previous budget experience.
Must have:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Post-secondary Degree in Administration and/or related field.
  • Experience in the Non-Profit/Health Care industry.
Nice to have:

  • Bilingualism in both English and French.

Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree
