Job Description

Our federal government client is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant with experience and in-depth knowledge in change management, team building, and dealing with organizational culture challenges to develop and deliver customized training and agreements to employees at its three locations (Ottawa, Moncton, and Vancouver) in both official languages, as and when requested.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop initial work plan and attend kick off meeting
  • Develop interview questions that identify pain points and support the development of strategies and approaches for these areas
  • Meet with and interview representative from the three sites and summarize findings
  • Document interview findings and prepare customized reports for each of the three sites, identifying the needs of each site
  • Conduct live coaching sessions
  • Organize a national virtual meeting to discuss and determine country-wide issues that need to be addressed and included in the training
  • Work with leadership at each site to create team agreements, implementation action plans, performance monitoring and adherence to strategies
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative methods to measure performance against the team agreements


Qualifications and Experience
Must have:

  • Valid reliability clearance
  • Bilingual French and English
  • Experience working as the lead resource on change management and organizational culture change projects
  • Experience developing quantitative and qualitative measurement tools designed to monitor performance against specific activities
  • Experience conducting investigations and participant interview and documenting findings
  • Experience developing GANTT charts, team agreements, implementation action plans, and preparing presentation decks for a Senior Executive Audience
  • Experience developing and delivering in person and virtual coaching sessions
