Job Description

Our client within the construction industry is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, the primary function of your role will be to support business units with recruitment & selection for various corporate and construction roles. You will also assist with other HR functions as required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruitment cycle for various corporate and construction roles as needed
  • Create, translate and update job descriptions
  • Post internal & external job ads
  • Headhunt appropriate talent through various platforms including professional organizations, job fairs/educational institutions, social events and other websites/forums
  • Conduct all screening and first-level interviews
  • Coordinate interviews and participate in them with managers
  • Conduct background and/or reference checks as required
  • Provide reports through SAP on recruiting efforts for various roles
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to develop talent strategies for pipelining candidates
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team for student recruitment
  • Collaborate with operational managers and HR to maintain relationships with educational institutions
  • Provide coordination support for daily HR tasks, programs and initiatives
  • Resolve employee questions/concerns with a focus on creating a positive employee experience
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather employee feedback & share with the leadership team
  • Participates in special HR projects as required


Qualifications and Experience
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience
  • Must be bilingual in French & English
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Interest in project management with the ability to manage multiple requirements and competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders and third parties
  • Ability to maintain great relationships with team members and internal/external stakeholders
Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP and Success Factors is an asset
  • Construction industry experience considered an asset
