Job Description

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative. This is a contract opportunity with the hours of work of Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is an onsite opportunity, located in Ottawa. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting customers and be passionate about great service. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both French and English.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle and respond to all incoming e-mail/telephone inquiries for customer service.
  • Handle customer complaints with active listening and prompt follow up for solutions to problem solving.
  • Build relationships with clients and customers.
  • Process orders, and review information for accuracy.
  • Complete reports and data entry accurately into database.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be fluently bilingual in both French and English and have strong written skills.
  • Minimum 1-year customer service or sales experience (call-centre, retail, hospitality or other related industries).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Experience responding to e-mails and telephone inquiries.
  • Must be confident and have the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast paced environment.
