Job Description

Our education client is looking a Part Time Business Process Analyst to join their team for a 3 month term.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand and define business needs using a balanced customer centric and system centric approach to data and architecture solutions
  • Create, document, and implement business rules including potential changes to the staffing model or process
  • Make recommendations regarding ownership of the workflow during various parts of the process
  • Anticipate potential business needs/changes to align with the School’s overall vision and provide recommendations
  • Work closely with the Director, Data Services, will work with a group of users to ensure individual department needs are met
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team corresponding departments to ensure consensus


Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with relevant educational experience
  • Relevant experience in project management supporting data-driven decision making by conducting detailed data analysis and using large datasets, preferably in educational or fundraising institution
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet competing priorities with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail while focusing on the big picture
  • Experience with student information systems or similar data bases is considered an asset
  • Capability to analyze competing priorities and ability to provide multiple solutions/recommendations
Nice to have:

  • Experience with BBK12, RENXT and Core is considered an asset
