Job Description

Our client within the manufacturing industry is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis in Stratford, ON. Please note that this role will be on site.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will be managing employee relations, change management, labour planning, training & development, program development and supporting leadership with HR related matters.

PERKS: Base salary plus up to 10% bonus, full benefits 100% , RRSP match up to 4%, tuition reimbursement /development & vacation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support employee engagement as a top priority
  • Develop HR strategies, policies & programs and ensure they are communicated and administered in a professional manner
  • Oversee recruitment & selection of talent
  • Labour planning & retention strategies
  • Manage employee relations
  • Coach and guide leadership teams on HR related matters
  • Work with the Health & Safety manager to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Lead the performance management process, including establishing performance plans, performance reviews, changes to compensation, etc
  • Training & development for leadership teams and employees
  • Manage all HR communications (events, organizational announcements, etc)
  • Change management


Qualifications and Experience
  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience within a manufacturing/warehouse setting preferred
  • Strong experience with managing & implementing HR programs
  • Strong experience with employee relations
  • Previous experience dealing with Mergers & Acquisition experience an asset
