Job Description

Our client, a large national advocacy organization, is currently seeking a Bilingual Training/Development Officer to support the development and delivery of virtual and in-person training and information sessions to volunteers from across the country, Association members, prospective members and staff. A large focus of this role will be on developing courses and other training materials.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs, develops training programs for delivery using various mechanisms (classroom, online, self-study, etc)
  • Coordinates training delivery
  • Assists in organizing district and national training conferences and assesses program effectiveness
  • Manages the design, delivery and administration of courses using both classroom and virtual formats, with the support of external partners and staff subject matter experts


Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating the delivery of training to adults
  • Significant experience in organizing and facilitating on-line and e-learning activities
  • Technical skills including Zoom, EventBrite, Powerpoint, and e-learning platforms
Must have:

  • Fluency in English and French
