Job Description

Seeking a Bilingual Government Project Administrator for our Federal Government client in Ottawa. This is a long term, 11 month contract, with the possibility of extension. Full time hours Monday to Friday. ONSITE

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communications and documentation (e.g., coordinate translation reviews, distribute information/gather feedback from various stakeholders);
  • Organize files/information (e.g., payment schedules, multimedia files) to support record-keeping, contract management , access, and reference;
  • Schedule meetings with numerous attendees (e.g., book meetings, reconcile conflicting schedules);
  • Distribute/collect documentation to support software testing (e.g., send information to stakeholders, as required; follow-up to ensure timely receipt of responses);
  • Prepare meeting notes and assist in the development of specifications related to software development.
  • Review materials to ensure accuracy and consistency across various sources (e.g., bilingual materials, format software development specifications, multimedia scripts, and deliverables from suppliers)

Qualifications and Experience
  • Completion of College Diploma OR at least one year of studies in a University degree program
  • 24 months experience in the past 60 months in general administrative duties (e.g., record-keeping, coordinating communications, scheduling meetings)
  • 24 months experience in the past 60 months using administrative software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
  • 12 months experience in the past 60 months working in a bilingual environment (e.g., reading/writing emails in English and French, reviewing basic communications to ensure consistency in English and in French)
