Senior Information Analyst - Hybrid

Job Description

Our established client, who provides financial and investment services located in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Senior Information Analyst to join their team. This exciting role offers a competitive salary, a hybrid work environment, bonus, benefits, and the chance to join an incredible team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Developing new and revised rules and guidance, working in collaboration with other staff and external stakeholders as required
• Leading complex policy projects
• Providing support to advisory committees by preparing meeting materials
• Monitoring financial rule adequacy on certain foreign currencies, government bonds etc.
• Supporting and representing the company externally, providing interpretation of financial and operational rules and conduct presentation to others on various matters of interest to the investment industry.

Qualifications and Experience

• Four (4) years of experience working in the investment industry with a financial institution, investment firm, financial regulator, and/or audit firm
• Demonstrated experience in leading projects
• Experience in regulatory policy development would be an asset
• Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course
• Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance or credit

Nice to have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including research and drafting skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing matters
• Knowledge of equity, fixed income and index securities
• Understanding of the Canadian securities industry

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
