Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Description

Our client in the federal government has need of a Senior Procurement Specialist to join them. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience within Federal Government Procurement.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assess the Professional Services needs of ADM(DIA)
• Assist in the creation of a Standing Offer for the procurement of Professional Services consultants
• Provide advice to senior members of the ADM(DIA) procurement team, up to and including the ADM
• Draft reports and present briefings to senior stake holders

Qualifications and Experience
Must have:

• 5 years experience, within the last 10 years, working in the procurement of Professional Services for the federal government, including:

- Identifying needs

- Drafting RFPs and SOWs
- Assessing candidates
- Writing and finalizing contracts
- Identifying and solving complex procurement issues
- Experience working with the TBIPS Contracting Vehicle
- Experience in the creation of Standing Offer Vehicles for federal government procurement

• 2 years experience, within the last 5 years, providing advice and briefings to senior members (Director and above)
