Business Development Consultant Remote

Job Description

Our client, a growing cellular provider, is seeking a vibrant and driven Business Development Consultant to join their team in Toronto. Working directly with the Senior Sales Executives, the candidate will be accountable for developing new accounts on behalf of the firm.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prospecting through various media forms
• Extensive business development- through cold calling, networking, and following leads
• Establishing business relationships and understanding market needs
• Oversee firm's social media accounts and grow opportunities through various platforms
• Setting up client meetings as needed

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in sales and / or account development
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Strong desire to learn and further adapt skill sets in sales
• Must maintain a strong sense of professionalism, and is a relationship oriented individual
• Has the capacity to recognize and evaluate client needs and provide suitable recommendations
• Must be action oriented
• Has a proven track record of generating new clientele through prospecting, referrals and networking efforts
• Proficiency in MS Office
