Job Description

Our trusted client within the non for profit industry is looking to add a Total Rewards Specialist to their dynamic team! This is a remote position and is a 12 month contract, with the possibility of extension or taken on permanent and offers a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of total rewards experience with the ability to support in compensation, benefits, pension and other rewards. There will be a focus on strategy within the organization execute a meaningful employee value!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Job evaluation process including evaluations, documentation, drafting of communication, application consistency, adherence to legislation and developing salary recommendations.
  • Total rewards benchmarking process which includes survey completion, benchmark information analysis, identifying best practices and environmental scans.
  • Job evaluation requests and market surveys, review of new job positions and offering knowledge on salary recommendations.
  • Ensuring accuracy of billing reports.
  • Staff appreciation and recognition programs.
  • First point of contact for all inquiries in relation to benefits, pension and compensation.
  • Maintenance of documentation of file management, data entry procedures and reports.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Provide and coordinator trend analysis for HR reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in Total Rewards.
  • Experience in pension, benefits and HRIS systems.
  • Working knowledge of pension legislation and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
