Job Description

Our client is looking for a Client Service Associate/Commercial Associate to join their team and contribute to their future. This opportunity would be to collaborate with Logistics support team to ensure appropriate logistic management. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with the logistics team the management of material sourcing and purchase activity. The successful candidate will work closely with external vendors to ensure business needs are met. This role will involve strong coordination and collaboration with the Corporate team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You collaborate with the logistics team, assume the responsibility for the day to day management of raw materials sources and purchase activity.
  • Your business partners are excited to collaborate with you! You support one another as a team and work together, leveraging everyone’s strengths.
  • You are depended on to see your commitments through and with good intentions.
  • The duties and tasks supported by your role continuously improve with increased quality and fast speed to market.
  • Organize, prioritize, and oversee all daily activity involved within the Logistics Department.
  • Set goals, lead, and direct to accomplish goals and objectives established by management.
  • Implement programs to improve service speed, accuracy, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Assist the procurement team and vendor negotiations.

Qualifications and Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with import/export or sales in the food industry
  • Previous experience in vendor management
  • BComm, BBA or Agriculture Degree and/or a combination of relevant experience and education
  • Proven experience in developing positive employee relations with an emphasis on creating a collaborative team environment.
  • You are adaptable in your approach and prioritize with focus on what adds value to the client.
  • Highly organized, ability to communicate well with customers & vendors
  • Integrity, strong worth ethic, and ability to focus on details while also seeing the big picture
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree
