Job Description

Altis Recruitment is looking for a Marketing Strategy Manager to work for our organization internally. As the Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for co-developing, monitoring and managing the delivery of marketing campaigns across Altis Recruitment and its suite of affiliated brands, targeting both the public and private sectors and encompassing all industries we support (IT, construction, healthcare, etc.). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and highly organized, managing the timely execution of all marketing campaigns and initiatives, and then reporting on their results, with the goal of always improving.

As a key member of a lean marketing team, the Marketing Project Manager has a proactive and collaborative attitude, with the ability to help develop campaigns and the skills required to pitch in and bring them to life, supporting the growth of the organization.

The position requires excellence in all aspects of marketing planning and delivery, as well as exceptional communication and organization skills. It also requires an understanding of current digital marketing trends across all owned channels (social media, website, email, etc.), with a particular focus on organic content promotion.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as a high-level project manager for all marketing-related initiatives, developing workback schedules to ensure projects and campaigns are on schedule, and deliverables are adequately resourced and met on time and on budget
  • Work with members of the marketing team to bring new ideas and out-of-the-box approaches to the table, with the goal of raising brand awareness and achieving national growth targets
  • Help develop and maintain brand awareness and image-building campaigns, in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Drive marketing initiatives across all key program areas, including website, email, social media (organic and paid), paid search, etc., assessing their effectiveness and adjusting as necessary
  • Brainstorm with the marketing team to generate new ideas for reaching candidates, prospective clients, and key stakeholders (i.e., through email marketing, social media, events, etc.); develop and execute marketing strategies to help achieve growth targets
  • Use the marketing data to identify critical issues and trends and suggest creative ways of improving performance
  • Assess marketing and communications processes and develop ways to streamline them
  • Managing external vendors/agencies is not a part of this role.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and independently, and develop thoughtful recommendations and action plans
Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • At least 4-6 years of experience developing and executing marketing initiatives
  • Ability to work with the marketing team to analyze data from a wide range of sources and draw appropriate insights. Data can include historical information, sales trends, customer traffic, and competitive insights
  • Demonstrated ability to co-develop, monitor and manage the delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing diverse set of digital marketing programs and achieving key objectives
  • Experience project managing a marketing team
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently, and develop thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Extensive digital marketing experience (social media, email marketing, content marketing)
  • Experience using LinkedIn for brand awareness and lead generation
  • Experience in a service-driven industry is a nice to have
  • Experience in growing engagement through email campaigns is a nice to have
Nice to have:

  • Experience in a service-driven industry is an asset
  • Familiarity with visual identity and design best practices

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
