Job Description

Our client, an Ontario-based utility, is currently seeking a Talent Management Consultant to join their team.

In this role, you will partner with hiring leaders to manage the end-to-end full-cycle job design and recruitment process for assigned open vacancies, manage internal client timelines and expectations, and the internal/external candidate experience, at each stage of the process.

You will also develop and enhance talent management processes, systems, and tools in an effort to build a strong employment brand and attract and retain top tier diverse applicants to the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support full cycle recruitment activities for vacancies and large-scale recruitment campaigns.
  • Track and report recruitment analytics.
  • Develop strategies to attract top tier, diverse talent to meet short and long-term resourcing needs.
  • Develop talent pipelines to support organization resourcing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for job applicants.
  • Manage external recruiting agencies.
  • Partner and consult with internal leaders to support organization and job design.
  • Advise on job evaluation process and support implementation, engagement, and communication of organizational structure.
  • Coach hiring leaders and employees on recruitment best practices.
  • Participate in departmental or divisional key projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in talent attraction, industry events, and career fairs.


Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+ years' progressive experience in HR with a focus on talent acquisition or talent management.
  • CHRL and/or undergraduate degree in Human Resources.
  • Experience with social media and online sourcing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in high volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and consulting/advisory skills.

Minimum education required: University Degree
