Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding and and exciting opportunity with a quickly growing organization in a flourishing industry? We are seeking an HR Professional with 5+ years of HR generalist to support a designated client group in Mirabel, Quebec.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to Managers and Employees within your assigned business units all HR related matters
  • Serve as the first point of contact within your assigned groups on all payroll, benefits and policy inquiries/issues
  • Assist and guide Managers within your assigned client groups on employee relations issues (ie: conflicts, disputes, performance management, etc)
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and trends to drive departmental initiatives
  • Assist with the development of HR policies, programs and initiatives and participate in their implementation
  • Coordinate the performance review process within your assigned groups and ensure alignment with corporate initiatives
  • Promote Health and Safety by ensuring compliance in partnership with General Managers
  • Resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations and provide recommendations for conflict/issue resolution to managers
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build employee morale, as well as increase productivity and retention
  • Assist with Human Resources projects assigned by the Senior HR Manager


Qualifications and Experience
  • 4+ years of Human Resources generalist experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an HRBP
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Proficiency with MS office and HRIS/ATS systems
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation, employee relations and best practices in Canada
  • Strong screening and interviewing skills including behavioral interview techniques
Nice to have:

  • Experience in a Manufacturing/Retail environment considered an asset
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce considered an asset
