Job Description

Our client in the Healthcare Industry is currently looking for a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Talent Team on a 6 month CONTRACT position with a high potential to lead to PERMANENT. The successful candidate will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting with a focus on sourcing and pipelining for talent. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about client service and excels in a fast paced and professional working environment. Agency experience is considered an asset.

This is a fully REMOTE position with a direct report into the Talent Acquisition Manager. This organization offers a competitive overall compensation package. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute full life cycle, high volume recruitment for a variety of roles across different departments
  • Generate a diverse candidate population using various methods such as direct sourcing, referrals, networking, and online job boards
  • Partner with the business leads to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for the organization
  • Conduct phone interviews with applicants to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications
  • Stay up-to-date on new sourcing tools, best practices, and how the team can best utilize these recruiting and networking tools
  • Provide complete, and accurate information to candidates about the company
  • Deliver market assessments to ensure the organization is effectively utilizing its recruitment resources
  • Proactively build an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and repeat positions to ensure future talent needs are met
  • Conduct the onboarding process of all new hires while creating a seamless and memorable experience
  • Coach hiring managers simultaneously on the recruitment processes
  • Assist with managing and growing the employment brand across external recruitment events
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and other regional recruiting as needed

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience
  • Corporate In-house recruitment, agency or third-party staffing experience highly preferred
  • 1-3 years of high volume recruitment experience
  • Experience hiring across multiple teams
  • Strong MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills required
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information is essential
  • Experience with Taleo and PeopleSoft is considered an asset
  • Ability to travel to community organizations, schools, career fairs for presentations as required
