Job Description

Our client, a leader within the agri-food supply chain industry, is currently seeking a Project Manager to assist with client/program management. The function of the Senior Project Manager role is to effectively deliver market research projects in a way that consistently results in the highest level of customer satisfaction for clients, while maintaining the speed and accuracy required in a dynamic environment. This role is 100% remote, however some travel to the Brampton office may be required from time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing, organically grow and develop new relationships with clients
  • Plan and coordinate other staff to execute and manage all aspects of assigned projects as required including setup design, developing implement projects including scheduling, ordering supplies, receipt of product, etc.
  • Implement Project Management processes and systems by following the Project Manager Procedures Manual
  • Serve as the main contact and ensure appropriate liaison with the project client
  • Develop contracts, screeners and questionnaires based on project-specific design and parameters provided by the client
  • Engage in weekly progress meetings with other Project Managers and Kitchen Supervisor, to discuss required resources, product procurement/deliveries and staffing requirements for upcoming projects
  • Coordinate projects across Canada and the US
  • Resolve project-related issues as they arise with appropriate team members and/or the client
  • Regularly monitor and report on progress of projects to the client as well as the Directors
  • Update the Project Manager’s Daily Report as projects progress on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in a related field
  • Previous experience managing a team (asset)
  • Experience in product innovation and/or research and development
  • Good understanding of statistics
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Adept with technology and tools
