Job Description

Our private sector client is looking for people with great customer service skills to join their growing team! Welcome Desks deliver services with the main responsibilities of welcoming, tracking, dispatching and following-up on service requests. Eligible candidates MUST be tech savvy.

This role will start training on-site in Kanata for the first 4 to 6 weeks and then transition into full-time, work from home. Training is Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm. You will have some day time shifts to start until you transition to other shifts.

While our client is open 24/7, they are looking for resources that are open to working from Monday to Friday 11:30am-8pm. Must be available for these hours.

Start date: January 31st 2022

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle customer and client requests, and coordinate conference calls
  • Register incoming calls, emails and web requests and dispatch them according to services and contract commitments, following quality processes
  • Create technical support tickets and monitor specific service requests end to end
  • Place orders on parts, maintain accurate inventory, and follow up on all logistics/ shipping and receiving functions.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Applicants must have excellent communication skills in English
  • MUST be computer and tech savvy
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday 11:30am-8pm.
  • Applicants must be comfortable commuting on site (Kanata) for training every day for at least 4-6 weeks
  • The clients look for a super star personality with great customer service skill

Pay rate: $16.40/hr
