Job Description

Altis is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 6 month contract role with a trusted client within the GTA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Human Resources team. The successful candidate will have experience with professional recruitment services and strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Management of external recruitment process to secure qualified candidates for the organization.
  • Assist in the development of innovative solutions to be able to meet staffing needs within the organization.
  • Provide oversight to recruitment process and strategy and support both hiring managers and business partners with candidate assessment and attraction.
  • Provide quality and integrity in the recruitment process and in potential hires within the organization.
  • Maintenance and implementation of applicant tracking system within the organization.
  • Partnering with hiring managers within the organization to establish and ensure effective practices with sourcing successful candidates, pipelining, interview techniques, documentation accuracy and other recruitment tools as required.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in recruitment in a corporate environment, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional candidates.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates and team.
  • Ability to prioritize in a constantly changing environment.
  • Experience with high volumes of recruitment.
  • Independent and proactive individual who is a team player and enjoys working with diverse clients.
Nice to have:

  • CHRP designation would be a key asset.

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
