Job Description

Our client in the Energy Industry is seeking to add an HR Manager to their team in Mississauga! They will be supporting locations in Ontario, Alberta, and in the US!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all HR inquiries from employees and management
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
  • Work closely with Managers on the performance management process and any improvements that may be required
  • Create and administer offer letters
  • Provide coaching and advice on career development, succession planning, compensation and performance management
  • Provide support to Hiring Managers with recruitment needs
  • Conduct exit interviews as needed
  • Work closely with the CEO
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to
  • Conduct and lead investigations regarding violations to company standards of conduct
  • Identify and manage training and orientation needs of the market such as leadership, management development
  • Compile HR reports to communicate data, support decision-making and identify trends

Qualifications and Experience
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or related field
  • CHRP an asset
  • Minimum 5+ years' generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in employment law, performance management, organizational development, employee relations, health and safety, and training and development
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Labour Laws, and employment equity regulations

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
