Job Description

Our client, a top manufacturing producer is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their amazing team.

This individual will be responsible for competing financial budgeting, financial and management reporting, as well as financial analysis for their corporate business unit.

This is a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a CPA and at least 2 years of working experience in a private company setting and speak French fluently.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Timely completion of all monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures.
  • Review financial transactions
  • Preparing and reviewing journal entries
  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Assisting with the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting including, compiling files, performance variance analysis, and preparing reports for senior leadership and the board of directors
  • Conduct accounting research and analysis, including resolving financial reporting issues.
  • Assist in the coordination of external audits

Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of two to five (2-5) years of relevant work experience in an analyst role.
  • Experience in private company accounting
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • Effective and professional communicator, ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders
  • Fluent in French

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree
