Job Description

Our client, located in Etobicoke is looking for a Director, Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team. In this role you will develop and analyze key operating metrics to support and drive the business in achieving its key operating and strategic objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Gather and review all departmental budget or reforecast data and integrates into one company wide budget or reforecast
  • Lead the budgeting activities with different internal agents to ensure the budgets and forecasts are prepared in a timely basis in the correct format
  • Manage and lead monthly financial statement analysis process and associated reporting of budget and reforecast variances
  • Advise various internal agents on all matters relating to budgets, forecasts and performance variances against projected results
  • Design and develop reports of key financial and operating metrics for management group

Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree: Business Administration preferred
  • 5-10 years of budgeting experience in a large multi-departmental corporate environment, Management Consulting or worked in Corporate Development
  • Big 4 Consulting experience considered a very strong asset
  • Existing leader in FP&A in a medium to large growth organization
  • Professional designation is considered an asset
  • Must have strong PC and accounting systems skills, Great Plains experience preferred
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree
