Job Description

One of our top non for profit association clients in the downtown Ottawa region, is seeking a vibrant go getter Digital Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate is required to work 3 days a week on site.

Scope of the role: Reporting into the Director of Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening online presence, managing web platforms, supporting digital marketing strategies, content creation, social media monitoring, assist with the development of digital content such as videos, graphics, blog posts and interviews.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all website updates and coordinate requests for updates from other teams within the organization.
  • Assist the creation, management, and optimization of dynamic and compelling digital advertising campaigns for identified target audiences (Google AdWords, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
  • Design marketing assets like brochures, posters, banners for print and digital use, coordinate production of new assets
  • Create, schedule, and manage all organic social media content and monitor performance
  • Update website with members information and policy updates
  • Perform other administrative tasks if required


Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree/Diploma in business, marketing, information technology, communication or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on Digital Marketing
  • Experience working in a small non for profit organization is a strong asset
  • Experience in managing social channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Knowledge of web tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords)

Minimum education required: College Diploma
