Job Description

To provide recruitment support as required for the Human Resources team. Provide full cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, and providing administrative support related to the recruitment process.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the HR team by providing recruitment support for roles across the organization including screening, setting up and conducting interviews, assessing candidates, making hiring recommendations, and providing other support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage candidate communication to ensure a positive candidate experience at all levels throughout the recruitment process. This includes, but is not limited to, introductions, corresponding / arranging virtual or in-person interviews, sending updates during the hiring process, sending candidate declines, etc.
  • Set up and administer video interviews using Modern Hire. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and entering questions, setting up candidates in the system, viewing interviews, and providing recommendations.
  • Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, entering new job requisitions into the Recruitment system, supporting the offer letter process, submission of forms, the administration of background checks, liaising with search firms, and arranging temporary work arrangements.
  • Proactively sourcing and qualifying candidates for current and upcoming positions.
  • Identify and use Social Media (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.) to promote open positions.
  • Support the new employee onboarding process by actively providing onboarding tools and guidance to hiring managers, as well as by ensuring timely communication with payroll and other relevant departments (D&T, Office Services, etc).
  • Coordinate and update key recruitment reporting as required (metrics, staffing spreadsheet, etc).


Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years recruitment experience
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and other social media tools used in the recruitment process
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (Talcura)
  • Experience with video interview platforms would be considered an asset (eg: Modern Hire)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
