Job Description

Our Client in the Non-For-Profit Education sector is actively looking for a Business Development & Coordination Specialist to join their team. Reporting in the Director of Marketing and Sales, this individual will be required to meet sales targets for educational course offerings and annual Conference & Galas. A strong preference for individuals in the education or event sales field.

This individual will work closely with the Director of Business Development to coordinate and execute on report campaign results.

LOCATION: This role is a fully REMOTE role currently and will lead back into office once a week to once a month. This is still undecided and the selected candidate must be flexible on hybrid in-office changes. Hours are 9am-5pm standard and office location is downtown core, near Eaton Centre. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deliver outreach on all sales initiatives, generate leads and handle inquiries to achieve sales numbers within tight timelines.
  • Develop key relationships with diverse external and internal stakeholders in order to drive results.
  • Collaborate with the analytics teams to pull relevant datasets in support of decision making processes.
  • Execute on timely reports to showcase progress and offer solutions when necessary.
  • Track all progress on sales leads daily.
  • Offer solutions and implement processes for department efficiencies purposes.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in education or event sales field is an asset.
  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing strategic sales plans.
  • Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to remain flexible with moving
  • priorities.
  • Excellent customer service background.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships.
  • Speaking French is a strong asset.

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
