Job Description

Our client , an association supporting healthcare, is seeking to bring on a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to their team. This role offers the opportunity to own full cycle recruitment for various clients groups, as well as to have a say in the Talent Strategy and Employer Branding.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations on continuous improvement
  • Partner with leaders to understand their talent requirements and lead them through the recruitment process
  • Ensure inclusive talent acquisition practices that follow the organization’s commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment recruitment process with support from the People & Culture Generalist
  • Ensure legal compliance with the recruitment process
  • Utilize the internal ATS and collaborate with the People & Culture Operations Lead to ensure accurate analytics determined by the talent strategy
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute the employer brand
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to ensure accuracy of the compensation strategy
  • Work with external vendors and staffing agencies
  • Support HRBP’s in strategic talent mapping and/or employee relations where the movement of talent is discussed
  • Support talent acquisition and/or talent mapping projects
  • Ensure all electronic recruitment records are maintained, with the support of the People & Culture Generalist
  • Review new hire documents to ensure accuracy of information
  • Maintain the career page updated with respect to talent on the company intranet
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture Operations Lead to track budget for recruitment
  • Support other projects or duties as required

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of talent acquisition experience in a corporate setting within an HR team
  • Completed Diploma/Degree
  • Previous experience with an ATS
  • Ability to express ideas and voice opinion regarding strategy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to be proactive and seek ways to improve processes
  • Independent with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to partner with various leaders/stakeholders
Nice to have:

  • Bilingual in French considered an asset
  • CHRP considered an asset
  • Field of study in Human Resources preferred

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
