Job Description

One of our clients is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their construction team! This role will assist the Senior project managers in organizing and detailing job specifics to be ready for construction site and follow site development. The Project Coordinator will be familiar with all contract documents (contracts, drawings, execution schedules, labor schedules, specifications, addendums, purchasing and all other
pertinent documents) to make certain that projects are managed accordingly and efficiently.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers and engineers.
  • Contribute to team efforts to manage projects and ensure their on-time completion, on budget, within specification, accident free and to customers’ satisfaction.
  • Assist in design, project scheduling, in-house coordination.
  • Assist in providing quotation, material breakdowns and in the development of the existing projects
  • Distribute necessary material throughout the organization.
  • Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity.
  • Perform drawings and assist with purchasing
  • Prepare project start up documents
  • Procure all necessary permits related to projects execution.
  • Resolve and/or assist in resolving, contract issues as they arise.
  • Update and maintain change orders
  • Follow up with superintendents to make sure deficiency lists are completed as planned.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be willing to demonstrate proof of double-vaccination in order to be considered
  • College diploma University education is an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role dealing with suppliers, engineers and site foreman.
  • Experience in preparing projects and shop drawings for Engineer approval and purchasing
  • Comprehension and knowledge of reading blueprints
  • Utilizing estimating software for plumbing & piping in commercial and residential.
  • Maintain and continue to develop professional and technical knowledge.
  • Proactive problem solver and task oriented.
  • Proficient with computer applications, in particular Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Quote Soft

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
