This role is well suited for a self-motivated team player with strong and timely problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be a very technical, hand on person who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. The main emphasis and skill set for this position will be in Network Engineering role. The successful candidate has the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks. In addition, the incumbent must possess effective communication skills that include strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities. Bringing their strong interpersonal skills to the forefront, the incumbent will be required to interact with internal and external parties in a professional and efficient manner. Demonstrated customer service orientation skills are required as is a keen attention to detail.
Must have skills:
• Cisco Nexus configuration & management
• Routing protocols: BGP/EIGRP/OSPF
• VRF, PBR, NetFlow
• VXLAN, QinQ, Dot1x
• QoS, traffic shaping and policing
CCNP or minimum CCNA Certification.
Top Nice to have skills
• Network High Availability designs and Clustering technologies
• Check Point
• Hands on: Firewall on a stick/inline architecture
• Citrix or F5 load balancers network architectures
• Cisco CUCM or other Voice manager
