Accounting Clerk - short-term contract!

Our client in the Mississauga area is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a temporary contract to join their team. This would be an 1-2 week opportunity starting as soon as possible. The hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing invoices
- Expense reports
- Providing support to the accounting department
- Data entry in excel
- Account reconciliation
- Facilitate Month end and Year end financials
- Journalize day to day entries
- Research discrepancies and process appropriate adjustments
- Review and audit expense reports
- Review, process and maintain contracts
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have previous experience as an accounting clerk, general accountant with demonstrated experience as related to the above duties
- Must have worked and be comfortable with excel.
- Have basic accounting principles knowledge
