Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Research Coordinator opportunity with a large Healthcare organization in Downtown Toronto. This opportunity is a full-time, 12 month contract, with a high expectation of extension to 24 months or becoming permanent. The team is currently working remotely and may move towards a hybrid model in the new year, and as such candidates will ideally be located in the GTA.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination, integration and linking of research with clinical care across the patient journey including longitudinal, standardized multimodal phenotyping measures from wearables, mobile applications, portable technologies and biosamples.
  • Support development of guidelines, policies, standard operating procedures, training materials, and documentation. The candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement these materials.
  • Strong writing skills and experience in creation of policies, standard operating procedures, and training materials.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Possess a Masters level degree in a health-related field with two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of other large-scale health data sharing and open science initiatives including consent models and data access processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with research consent, policies, and standard operating procedures are required.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities are required, as well as the ability to work in fast-paced environment and problem solve.
  • The candidate will have superior interpersonal communication (oral and written) and project management skills along with ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Nice to have:

  • Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

Minimum education required: Master's Degree
