Job Description

On behalf of our clients in the federal government, ExcelITR is seeking Bilingual Help Desk Specialists to provide technical support to users. In this role, you will respond to calls and provide accurate responses and installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software or peripherals at the desktop, network or server level.

This contract is expected to begin as soon as possible and will run until November 2022. All work on this contract is to be conducted remotely.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of network problem analysis and monitoring tasks, monitor network management systems and respond appropriately to user requests and problems
  • Perform initial problem analysis and triage problem to other appropriate staff when appropriate.
  • Maintain liaison with network users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution to network users; log and track requests for assistance.
  • Develop, implement, and/or participate in the distribution of network related information to users to include information such as help desk procedures and network handbooks.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a valid ENHANCED RELIABILITY security clearance
  • 3+ years of experience providing IT Support as a Service Agent
  • 3+ years of experience supporting a Computer or Network Services Team using ITIL Service Management Framework
  • Hold a secondary school diploma and a certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluent in both English and French

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
