Job Description

Our client in Mississauga is hiring a Customer Service/Sales Support Specialist to provide exceptional Customer Service to their loyal customers. The ideal candidate is a team-player, is highly organized, has great communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with accuracy, speed, and professionalism. The candidate will mainly be responsible for managing shipment orders, as well as optimizing on sales opportunities. This involves providing general customer support, including calling customers with product details, availability, order confirmations, and order status updates.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receiving a high volume of inbound calls and emails daily, as well as outbound when needed
  • Following up with production
  • Organizing shipping and printing labels
  • Entering orders into internal software
  • Managing database records
  • Provide timely information re: order tracking, backlog processing and status updates
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through prompt, professional, and accurate resolution of customer inquiries
  • Maintain good working knowledge of products, being able to answer questions and provide recommendations

Qualifications and Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a total service focus
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Must be customer focused and enjoy talking on the telephone and assisting customers in difficult or demanding situations
  • Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment
Must have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Nice to have:

  • ERP system experience
  • CRM system experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma
