Job Description

Our Public Sector client is looking for a PERMANENT IT Business Delivery Manager to join their team for their Loyalty Program Project with Aeroplan. This role will be a hybrid model with MAX 2 days a week on site at the Toronto location.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Establish, lead and implement a sustainable Merchandising, Marketing and Customer Experience team that supports the IT division’s strategic plan and the annual business plan, especially as it pertains to IT systems
  • Manage the clients Merchandising, Marketing, and Customer Experience delivery capability including internal and external resources, development methodology, processes and tools
  • Direct and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of programmers, business and quality assurance analysts to configure COTS applications, develop integration, web and mobile applications
  • Develop and evolve the Merchandising and Marketing systems transformation strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with the IT strategic business plan and enterprise architecture

Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, math or business, or a related field of study; or combination of education and experience
  • Project management certification (PMP) will be considered an asset, with a track record of delivering large, business critical applications
  • Significant experience of the above in the Retail industry
  • 5+ years' experience in project management, systems integration, and application development in retail or human capital consulting
  • Solid experience or deep exposure to cloud services, mobile architectures and COTS software
  • Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and variety of application and data integration options
  • Functional people management experience preferred
Must have:

  • Retail experience

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
