Job Description

Our client within the Healthcare sector is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator join their team for a 16 Month Contract.
The position is currently remote.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the critical day to day scheduling of all Patient Care employees, including coverage for daily and ongoing absences, overtime/extra hours scheduling, scheduling of relief staff and ensuring maintenance of timely and accurate schedules in the Human Resources Information System.
  • The Scheduling Coordinator has a strong customer service orientation with responsibilities including responses to employee communication and queries, management of the scheduling Support-Line ticketing system, coordination of relief availability, scheduling, payroll processing and collective agreement administration.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience related to the Scheduling portfolio
  • Experience with an HRIS/HRMS (Quadrant-preferably)
  • Good working knowledge of computerized payroll system
  • Good experience with organizational operations and organizational structure, Collective Agreements (i.e. entitlements, scheduling processes, etc)
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills
  • Prioritization, organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and initiates follow-up and follow-through as required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy (intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office; internet, E-mail, Quadrant and HRMS)
  • Active and engaged team contributor
  • Responsive and flexible
  • Professional, discreet and confidential
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities and judgement
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
