Job Description

Altis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recruiter for their Finance & Accounting specialty division. As a Recruitment Partner, you will source candidates for contract and permanent positions for entry to senior level opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role has worked in a relatable position and is comfortable managing and delivering on multiple requirements simultaneously. Experience staffing within the finance & accounting space considered a strong asset.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, screening and presenting top qualified candidates for entry to senior level roles in finance & accounting
  • Posting ads and actively searching for talent in our in-house database and on several online resumes banks
  • Scheduling and conducting a high volume of virtual interviews
  • Building strong relationships with potential and current job seekers
  • Attending virtual career fairs, networking events and contractor appreciation socials
  • Providing consultative advice to candidates on hiring processes, compensation, termination, and other HR topics
  • Updating candidate files with a goal to locate and place available candidates, generate leads and contribute to candidate-marketing activities
  • Completing reference checks and verifying credentials as required

Qualifications and Experience
Must have:

  • 2+ years of previous recruitment experience required, ideally within Finance & Accounting staffing
  • Expert user of external recruitment resources including LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and more
  • Experience working on a high volume of requisitions, juggling multiple roles simultaneously
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with recruiting practices, candidate process management, behaviour interviewing skills and assessment techniques
  • Technical aptitude in the use of business software and applicant tracking systems

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
