Job Description

Our client, a non-profit association, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Toronto, ON. This is a full-time, permanent, REMOTE TO START opportunity which includes a competitive salary, benefits package, and a chance to work with an amazing organization. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the organization's 2 departments, and to the head of the departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and ensure equipment is set up for webinars
  • Maintain schedules
  • Assist with invoicing and expenses
  • Attend weekly meetings and conduct minute taking
  • Prepare weekly reports for review
  • Provide project support
  • Prepare documents for team members
  • Provide support in internal market research
  • Assist with financial budgeting, reporting, and analysis
  • Assist in any event coordination and management
  • Maintaining and updating the internal database and file system
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure projects are on track and provide support
  • Assist in general office support (filing, mailing, courier, printing, etc).
  • Other administrative related tasks as needed


Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma
  • Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an Administrative role
  • Experience working in a professional services type of environment would be considered an asset
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be resourceful and a self-starter
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Nice to have experience working with CMS systems, email service providers and applications such as Adobe Acrobat, IMIS, Informz)
  • Must be comfortable working on-site
  • Must be able to work with individuals at all levels of an organization

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
