Job Description

Our industry-leading client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an HR Generalist for their growing, international team.

The successful candidate will handle a wide range of human resources functions, including staffing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, company events, training and development, H&S, compliance, and HR administration.

If you possess 3-5 years' HR experience, excel at managing multiple competing priorities, and enjoy liaising with internal stakeholders to support business needs, apply today!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to employees across various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence and compensation
  • Support development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training and development
  • Manage performance review process for multiple locations
  • Maintain HRIS and support HR administrative functions.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Ensure that all employees are appropriately trained in health and safety programs, policies and procedures
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, apply new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

Qualifications and Experience
  • 3-5 years' HR experience, with exposure to HR administration, Recruitment, Performance Management, and Employee relations.
  • College/University degree or equivalent in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of provincial Employment Standards, Human Rights legislation, Workers Compensation and Health and Safety legislation
  • Understanding of general human resource policies and procedures
  • Ability to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
