Job Description

Seeking a Call Centre Agent for our Human Resources client on a short-term contractual basis of 6 months with a possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate must be possess customer service experience as well as phone handling skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work on shift rotation as required by the centre to meet business demands.
  • Manage customer interactions received by phone, email, web-chat or other channels.
  • Logs each interaction into the ticketing system and documents all key action attempted and final resolution.
  • Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Assign tickets appropriate to other support teams based on predefined procedures or through escalation to a subject matter expert, senior support analyst or team leads.
  • Identifies and assesses customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction and builds relationships with the customers based on trust through open, supportive and positive communication.
  • Engages customers, remains positive and takes ownership of each interaction.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Customer service experience for minimum of 2 years
  • Phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with call routing and ticketing
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Time management skills
