Privacy Officer (ATIP) - Federal Government

Multiple Federal Government departments are looking for Privacy (ATIP) officers to join their team to support with reviewing backlogged files.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assessing and preparing PIA;
• Analyzing, processing, researching and preparing responses to sensitive Privacy requests;
• Providing recommendations with exemption or exclusion of information to be released;
• Perform thorough review and analysis of the documents according to the Acts;
• Identify any non-relevant information as well as any missing information and documents;
• Conduct quality control on release packages.
• Handling of complaints by the OPC

• Must qualify for or hold a valid Secret clearance;
• 5 years experience within an ATIP office in the Government of Canada;
• Experience with working in an ATIP Office specifically on Privacy files.
• Bilingual is considered an asset but not required (French & English)
